About the Role :
At NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital, our Information Technology team is dedicated to delivering innovative and high-quality healthcare solutions. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Solution Architect to join our team.
The Solutions Architect will be responsible for designing and overseeing the implementation of reliable, scalable, and secure IT infrastructure solutions for our healthcare enterprise applications. This role requires a deep understanding of network architecture, cloud computing, data center operations, and enterprise-level systems and storage. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure our IT infrastructure aligns with business goals and industry best practices. A key aspect of this role involves maintaining and leveraging application and business capability maps to enhance operational efficiency, streamline workflows, and identify opportunities for new applications and process improvements.
Responsibilities :
- Infrastructure Design & Planning
Develop and maintain the overall architecture for IT infrastructure solutions, including network, storage, servers, and cloud environments.
Evaluate new technologies, tools, and platforms to determine their suitability for the organization's solution needs.
Lead solution implementation projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget constraints
Ensure that all solution designs and implementations comply with security policies, regulatory requirements (HIPAA, PHI, PCI), and industry standards.
Monitor the performance of IT solutions and identify areas for improvement.
Liaise with vendors, suppliers, and third-party service providers to negotiate contracts, manage relationships, and ensure service level agreements (SLAs) are met.
Qualifications :
Requires on-site presence 4 day a week; therefore, should live within a commutable distance. No relocation assistance available."
