Dietary Worker - Part Time - Evenings - Queens
Join our dedicated team and play a vital role in providing exceptional support and customer service to our patients and their families. You will contribute to a compassionate, caring, and safe environment that ensures a positive experience for every patient, every time. This position offers a rewarding opportunity to work in various capacities, including preparing and serving meals to patients daily, ensuring their dietary needs are met with care and attention.
Perform a variety of routine tasks in the kitchen, cafeteria, tray line, and dishwashing areas, following standard practices and procedures to ensure efficiency and cleanliness.
This is a part-time position located at NYP / Queens. The shift includes weekdays, weekends, and holidays, and requires registration with the 1199 Job Security Fund. Typical shifts are 3 : 45pm-7 : 45pm, 4 : 00pm-8 : 00pm, or 12 : 00pm-8 : 00pm - scheduled days are varied, but every weekend is required.
Preferred Criteria
- Previous experience in food service.
- Extensive customer service experience and a desire to Put Patients First.
- Experience in the hotel, restaurant or retail industry.
