NYP is seeking an experienced Analyst within the Physician Services department to join a world class academic health system.
The Analyst will be part of a team of healthcare professionals that support NYP’s regional physician network to deliver the highest quality of care to the New York City Metro Area partnering with Regional Facilities and affiliated Medical Schools.
This is a full-time position, Monday- Friday from 9AM - 5PM. Location: 466 Lexington Avenue, New York, NY.
Essential Job Duties
- Assist with tracking and monitoring the progress of ongoing projects, report requests and access requests
- Complete report requests for both internal and external teams/organizations. Identify trends, patterns, and insights within the data to support decision making
- Import, convert, merge and validate data from multiple sources/hospital systems with the purpose of preparing for various analyses including our medical group executive dashboard. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy
- Interpret data across the department, derive strategic insights and present conclusions to leadership to enable decision-making and planning
- Support team of Senior Analysts with business plan data collection
- Support short and long term operational and strategic business activities through analyses and suggestions for process improvement
- Must be detail oriented, exhibit critical thinking skills and have an inquisitive and investigative mindset
- Performs other job related duties as assigned
Required Criteria
- Bachelors Degree
- Minimum of one to three years of related experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word
