Dosimetrist- Radiation Oncology | Full-Time, Days
Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
At NewYork-Presbyterian Queens, our Radiation Oncology Department offers a comprehensive suite of cancer services in a comfortable environment, conveniently located for residents of Queens. We are currently seeking a skilled certified dosimetrist to join our expanding department. In this role, you will work in a patient-focused, high-tech setting with cutting-edge technology. Your responsibilities will include participating in the planning of patient treatments using the Eclipse planning system and Pinnacle, performing image fusion with Velocity, conducting related planning reviews, and completing dosimetry calculations, among other tasks.
This is a Full-Time position in Flushing, Queens. This is an on-site position with limited remote opportunity (post probation).
Required Criteria
- Bachelors in Health Science or Physics.
- C.M.D. certification
- Knowledge of Eclipse, Pinnacle, RadCalc, Mosaiq, Velocity software.
- Thorough knowledge of the principles and practices of treatment planning and dosimetry including SBRT, SRS, VMAT, IMRT and 3D, gained through at least 3 years’ experience as a certified dosimetrist.
