Occupational Therapist – Pediatrics/Acute Care – Per Diem

New York-Presbyterian Komansky Children’s Hospital, together with Weill Cornell Medicine, mission is to provide outstanding medical care in a family-centered environment. The Pediatric Rehabilitation Therapy Team is integral in achieving that mission.
A successful candidate will demonstrate clinical skills and knowledge in the assessment and treatment of pediatric patients across the continuum of acute care settings. Experience treating medically complex children, including PICU Early Mobilization, is required.
NICU experience is a plus.
This per diem position working 8:30am-4:30pm provides weekend and holiday coverage. Weekday shifts also available.
Required Criteria
· BS Degree in Occupational Therapy
· NYS Occupational Therapy License
· Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification
Preferred Criteria
· 2 years’ experience with pediatric patients PICU experience (0-21 years)
· Pediatric NDT Certification
· Regular weekday availability
· AOTA Membership
· National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) Certification
· Master’s Degree
