Deliver care you can be proud of. As a Laboratory Technologist you will conduct routine and complex tests on clinical specimens in the microbiology laboratory including mycology, bacteriology, and parasitology. You will troubleshoot instruments and methods. In state-of-the-art 24-hour facilities, you'll find real opportunities to maximize your time and training. Perform all quality control procedures and assist in the evaluation of new equipment, reagents and methodologies.
This is a per-diem position working every other weekend from 8am-4pm and as needed based on operations and additional availability. Location is our Weill Cornell campus on Manhattan's Upper East Side.
Preferred Criteria
- Microbiology experience
- ASCP certification
Required Criteria
- Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or any other health science related field
- New York State Clinical Laboratory Technologist license from the New York State Education Department
