Senior Analyst Information Technology EHR
The Senior Analyst Information Technology EHR is responsible for providing tactical and operational support for the implementation of Enterprise Epic systems. Reporting to the Manager IT-Epic, the role is responsible for system build, implementation and operational activities for assigned Epic Modules. Core functions include designing, building and supporting electronic insurance eligibility workflows and business integration between the Enterprise Epic platform and external systems. A successful individual will have a background in patient access, registration and scheduling workflows in the healthcare setting. The individual will have a strong technical understanding of integrations and how different systems communicate with each other.
The individual will be part of a consortium team with colleagues at affiliated institutions, consisting of clinicians, project managers, analysts, and developers with module specific domain expertise. This position works closely with clinical and business users and assists a multi-disciplinary team in the design, implementation, optimization, change management, and issue resolution related to the enterprise system. This position requires broad exposure to systems such as the Epic platform, along with clinical workflow and business processes. As an Analyst for the enterprise Epic system, this individual will collaborate with appropriate technical and operational leaders from affiliated institutions.
Requires 4 days on-site presence; therefore, should live within a commutable distance. No relocation assistance available.
Preferred Criteria
- Degree or major in Computer Science or related STEM-field
- Epic Prelude, Eligibility Certification
- Epic build and implementation experience
- Knowledge of operational and clinical workflows and business processes
- Experience with programming and/or reporting
Required Criteria
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
- Epic Module Certification obtained within six months of employment
- 5 to 7 years of previous work experience in a healthcare setting
