Key Responsibilities :
- Hands-On Construction : Assist in the construction of work orders using hand tools and operating construction equipment. Be a key player in completing projects by splicing and pulling cables to the appropriate locations.
- Cable Installation : Work alongside the team to install and splice fiber cables using digging and trenching equipment, bucket trucks, and other construction tools. Operate various cable installation equipment to fulfill work orders. Maintain and repair buried and aerial plant, and associated equipment.
- Right-of-Way Custodian : Take charge of maintaining the right-of-way and ensure all surfaces are restored and cleaned once the construction work is completed.
- Equipment Maintenance : Perform routine maintenance, stocking, and cleaning of service vehicles and construction equipment to keep everything in top-notch condition.
- Versatile Team Player : Engage in miscellaneous duties as assigned by management. Participate in regular reviews with the supervisor and accept direction with a positive attitude.
