Licensure Required: Cosmetologist
We are looking for a licensed cosmetologist, beautician or stylist to bring their expertise into our facilities to provide personal pampering and attention to the well-being of our residents and guests. This person would be kind, compassionate, patient and eager to make a difference in our guests’ days by making them feel comfortable, confident and happy during their stay at our facility.
How You Will Help People
- You will provide professional and compassionate personal care such as hair styling, basic spa treatments and nail services to our guests.
- You will promote hospitality and excellent customer service in your weekly interaction with our guests. Through kind words and encouragement, you will promote a positive, healthy environment in which to heal and thrive.
- Build & maintain guest relationships
- Contract based
- 1-2 days per week during typical salon hours
- A current and valid Michigan cosmetology license IS REQUIRED
- Proficient in styling diverse hair types, including those with ethnic backgrounds.
- Proficiency with latest salon techniques
- Proficiency with equipment needed to perform technical work
- Strong listening and verbal communication skills
- Positive Attitude
- Ability to work independently
- Good interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with guests
- Excellent customer service skills with a commitment to delivering Excellent, Passionate, Innovative Care!
