Position: Café Worker/ Delivery Driver

Location: Westborough, MA

Schedule: Saturday-Wednesday 10am-7pm or 6am-2pm

Hours: 40 per week

Pay Rate: $16.00-$18.00

Job Summary:
The Driver / Café Worker will be responsible for both driving and café duties within a corporate setting in Westborough. The role will focus on the pick-up and delivery of food and food-related items between our locations. The role will shift to assisting with food prep, serving customers, and maintaining a clean and organized café environment. This hybrid role requires candidates to have a clean driving record, a positive attitude, and excellent customer service skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Delivery Driver

• Operate a company vehicle safely, ensuring on-time deliveries and pick-ups of food items to and from various locations.

• Load and unload food and food-related items from the vehicle and store or install items as directed.

• Ensure food is transported and handled safely to maintain quality.

Café Worker

• Assist in front-of-house operations, including serving customers and operating the point of sale system.

• Perform light food preparation such as assembling grab-and-go items, maintaining the salad bar, and baking items like cookies.

• Set up and restock displays, coolers, and workstations as needed.

• Wash dishes, remove trash, and maintain cleanliness throughout the café.

• Ensure the dining area is clean and presentable, providing excellent customer service by being approachable and attentive.

• Collaborate with the Chef Manager and co-workers to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

Essential Functions:

• Provide timely and safe transportation for food and supplies.

• Ensure customer satisfaction with friendly, attentive service and a positive attitude.

• Assist in food prep and restocking, while maintaining a clean and organized environment.

• Work as part of a team and take direction from the Chef Manager.

• Perform other duties as needed to support the smooth operation of the café.

Requirements:

• Valid state driver’s license and a clean driving record.

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Previous experience in food service or customer service, preferably in a corporate setting.

• Ability to lift and pull up to 40 pounds.

• Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team.

• Strong customer service skills, including a friendly and professional attitude.

• Dependability and reliability are essential for success in this role.
