Location : Wakefield, MA
Schedule : 6am-2:30pm
Hours : Full-Time
Hourly Pay Rate : $22.00
Job Summary:
The Utility / Driver reports to the General Manager. This Utility / Driver’s responsibilities will include washing dishes, pots and pans and other equipment as assigned and maintaining a clean work environment. Also, the Utility / Driver is responsible for making on-time deliveries within this portfolio and continued maintenance to the company vehicle. Representing not only the client but NEXDINE as well, this Utility / Driver needs to exhibit great customer service in all aspects of this job.
Essential Functions and Key Tasks :
Utility:
Maintain clean work areas as assigned
Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, or pans using dishwashers or by hand
Properly store equipment or utensils
Responsible for trash removal and storage in appropriate containers.
May sweep, mop or scrub floors.
Clean equipment as assigned, including but not limited to, ovens, broilers, stoves, slicers, and steamers.
Assist with stocking supplies in serving stations, cupboards, refrigerators, or salad bars. Transfer supplies or equipment between storage and work areas, by hand or using hand trucks or carts.
Provide excellent customer service to include being attentive, approachable, greeting and thanking customers.
May perform other cleaning duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Driver:
Operate company vehicle (van, truck, etc.) safely and efficiently.
Load and unload product from designated location into company vehicle for delivery.
Maintain positive customer and client relations at all times.
Complete necessary paperwork for billing and maintain internal and external customer invoices.
May include filling gas task & coordinating preventative maintenance for vehicle.
Adhere to delivery schedule as assigned to ensure accurate and timely deliveries.
Comply with all state and federal traffic rules & regulations.
Provide excellent customer service to include being attentive, approachable, greeting and thanking customers.
May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Utility Worker Requirements :
Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team
Must be dependable
Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds
