What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assembly Laborer position at Nexeo Staffing?
Are you a hands-on problem solver who enjoys working with tools and building things that last? Nexeo is seeking a dedicated Assembly Laborer to support our client’s mechanical production of amusement ride vehicles in North Logan, UT. If you're detail-oriented, mechanically inclined, and ready to work in a dynamic shop environment, this role is for you!
Responsibilities
• Assemble mechanical parts using hand and power tools.
• Operate overhead cranes and forklifts as needed.
• Interpret engineering drawings and job specs.
• Ensure quality standards and safety protocols are followed.
• Lift and maneuver parts weighing up to 75 lbs.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace.
• Tackle other duties as needed—no two days are the same!
Qualifications
• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 1 year of hands-on assembly or mechanical experience.
• Comfortable working with tools and reading blueprints.
• Strong work ethic and attendance record.
• Ability to work independently and manage time well.
• Bonus if you have vocational training in assembly or mechanics!
Pay
$18.00 - $20.00 Per Hour
Schedule
Monday – Friday | 7:00am – 5:00pm | Every other Friday off!
