Assembly Technician

Responsibilities

• Precise Assembly: Assemble components with attention to detail using both hand and power tools, ensuring accurate and high-quality results.

• Quality Control: Inspect finished goods thoroughly to verify their quality, accuracy, and adherence to specifications.

• Blueprint and Instruction Adherence: Follow blueprints, schematics, and written instructions meticulously to guarantee flawless assembly and functionality.

• Cross-Department Coordination: Collaborate closely with inspection, shipping, receiving, and quality control teams to ensure smooth workflow and adherence to production standards.

• Engineer Communication: Work with engineers to resolve issues related to missing or mismatched components, ensuring a seamless production process.

• Project Staging and Preparation: Stage and prepare components and projects for smooth execution, minimizing delays and optimizing workflow.

• Final Packaging & Shipment Preparation: Accurately prepare products for final packaging and shipment, ensuring safe and efficient handling.

• Order Packaging: Package hardware and loose parts securely for outgoing orders, ensuring they are ready for transport.

• Freight Management: Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to manage freight and maintain an organized flow of materials.

• Tool and Workspace Organization: Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring tools and equipment are easily accessible.

• Inventory Management: Conduct regular inventory checks to ensure all necessary tools and materials are available for efficient production.

Qualifications

• Skilled in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and assembly instructions to ensure precise execution.

• Hands-on experience with a wide range of hand tools, power tools, and forklifts, ensuring efficient and safe operation in various tasks.

• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and meet deadlines.

• Competent in using Microsoft Excel and Word for documentation, reporting, and task tracking.

• Committed to delivering high-quality results while maintaining a sharp attention to detail.

• Demonstrates a strong work ethic, professionalism, and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.

• Strong communicator with the ability to lead by example, motivating team members to perform at their best.

• Capable of performing physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 100 lbs, while maintaining efficiency and safety.

• Comfortable working outdoors and operating industrial equipment safely, ensuring compliance with safety standards.

Pay

$16.00 to $20.00 Per Hour DOE

Schedule

Day Shift | 6:00 or 7:00 AM – 4:30 or 5:30 PM | Monday – Thursday
