Carpentry Shop Technician

Nexeo HR is seeking motivated and skilled individuals with carpentry or construction experience for a growing cabinetry manufacturer in Hyrum, UT. This is a full-time, temp-to-hire position offering competitive pay based on experience, starting at $16–$18/hr, with flexibility for highly qualified candidates. 

Responsibilities

•    Assist in the production of custom cabinetry, including tasks such as cutting, drilling, sanding, and assembling cabinet doors and components.

•    Safely and efficiently operate a variety of hand tools and power tools to complete tasks.

•    Accurately read and interpret blueprints and use tape measurements for precise work.

•    Utilize basic computer systems as part of the production process to track and manage projects.

•    Stand for extended periods while working in a fast-paced environment.

•    Be adaptable and rotate through different departments such as molding, sanding, or cut-out based on skills and departmental needs.

Qualifications

•    Prior experience in carpentry, cabinetry, or construction is strongly preferred.

•    Must be proficient in reading a tape measure and have the ability to speak and understand English effectively.

•    Blueprint reading and computer skills are essential.

•    Strong attention to detail, reliability, and a commitment to quality work.

•    Must have reliable transportation to Hyrum, UT.

•    Willingness to work longer shifts Monday through Friday to meet production deadlines.

Pay

$16.00 - $18.00 Per Hour

Schedule

Day Shift | Monday-Friday | 7:00am-4:00pm or 8:00am-5:00pm
