Responsibilities
• Program CNC Mills and Lathes: Optimize machining variables such as speed, feed, and depth of cut directly at the controller, ensuring alignment with manufacturing specifications for maximum efficiency and precision.
• Set Up and Operate CNC Equipment: Prepare and operate CNC mills and lathes to manufacture high-quality components that meet or exceed production standards.
• Perform Precision Finishing Operations: Complete finishing tasks, including deburring, tapping, honing, and bench work, to ensure all components meet exacting precision and quality standards.
• Interpret Technical Documentation: Read and analyze blueprints, drawings, and work instructions to accurately produce parts that adhere to design specifications.
• Inspect for Quality Assurance: Use manual measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges to verify that finished parts comply with technical and dimensional requirements.
• Maintain Machine Performance: Conduct daily routines, including warm-up programs and scheduled maintenance, to ensure optimal machine performance and minimize downtime.
Qualifications
• CNC Experience: Over 5 years of hands-on experience working with CNC mills, lathes, and manual machining equipment, showcasing advanced technical skills.
• Expertise in Programming and Setup: Proficient in CNC programming, machine setup, tooling selection, and fixture creation to support efficient and precise manufacturing processes.
• Technical Blueprint Proficiency: Strong ability to interpret and follow blueprints, technical drawings, and detailed work instructions to ensure accurate production.
• Educational Qualifications: High school diploma, trade school certification, or equivalent work experience is required.
• Personal Tools Required: Candidates must provide their own manual measuring devices and tools appropriate for the position.
• Preferred Skills: Familiarity with HAAS equipment and experience with SolidWorks programming, including Mastercam, is highly advantageous.
Pay
$20.00 to $30.00 Per Hour DOE
Schedule
Day Shift | 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM | Monday – Thursday
