Nexeo HR is seeking a Data Center Logistics Lead to join our team in Sparks, NV. In this role you will be responsible for overseeing the assembly and quality assurance processes for large machinery and server racks in a production environment. The ideal candidate will be skilled with power tools and have leadership experience in manufacturing or production. Responsibilities
• Oversee loading and unloading of freight, managing shipping documents and records.
• Perform quality checks on inbound and outbound materials, ensuring accuracy and pristine condition.
• Conduct daily inventory cycle counts and replenish critical spare supplies and PPE.
• Process return shipments of electronic components using warehouse management systems.
• Supervise and perform placement of server racks on the datacenter floor with laser measuring tools.
• Oversee and assist in the assembling of electronic components and cabling installation into server racks based on diagrams and schematics.
• Install rack hardware using hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices.
• Operate material handling equipment such as straddle stackers, rack movers, and electric pallet jacks.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with 5S standards and data center procedures.
• Manage efficiency and provide feedback on quality checks and tasks performed.
• Assist in personnel training, team performance, and tracking progress toward SLAs.
• Perform other data center, warehouse, and assembly related duties as assigned, including heavy lifting, pushing, and pulling throughout the day.
Qualifications
• At least 1 year of relevant leadership and/or management experience within a warehouse facility or similar environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in a leadership role in a production environment.
• Proficiency with power tools and measuring tools.
• Familiarity with inventory management and quality assurance processes.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull frequently throughout the workday.
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of 5S standards and safe work practices is a plus.
• Must be reliable, detail-oriented, and able to meet deadlines effectively.
Pay
$26.00 Per Hour
Schedule
Full-Time | Day Shift | 6:30am – 3:00pm | Monday - Friday
