Nexeo is looking for a Disaster Recovery Technician Assistant to join our dynamic team in the St. George, UT area! In this entry-level role, you will support experienced Mitigation Technicians in restoring properties affected by water, fire, and other disasters. This position offers hands-on training, career growth opportunities, and the chance to make a real impact in the disaster recovery industry.
Responsibilities
• Set up and break down mitigation equipment.
• Transport materials to job sites.
• Assist in damage assessment and documentation.
• Perform water extraction, drying, and dehumidification.
• Remove damaged materials and debris.
• Operate dehumidifiers, air movers, and pumps.
• Follow safety protocols.
• Clean and sanitize affected areas.
• Report progress to the lead technician.
• Maintain a clean work environment.
Qualifications
• Strong communication skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Physical stamina.
• Ability to work in hazardous conditions.
• Team player.
• Willingness to train and learn.
Pay
$18.00 - $20.00 Per Hour
Schedule
Monday – Friday | 9:00am – 5:00pm
On-call nights, weekends, holidays (with bonus for new jobs sold and performed)
Overtime for over 40 hours/week
