Flagger

We're looking for certified Flaggers to help direct traffic at the landfill during busy Saturdays. Starting on Saturday, March 29th, this temporary role will likely continue for the next 4-6 Saturdays. If you're looking for extra weekend work, this is the perfect opportunity for you!

As a Flagger, you'll play a key role in ensuring smooth traffic flow and public safety. With provided equipment like radios, stop signs, and safety vests, you'll be guiding vehicles and keeping the area safe. It's a straightforward, impactful position with a chance to work outdoors!

Responsibilities

•    Direct and manage traffic flow at the landfill entrance and within designated areas.

•    Ensure public and vehicle safety by providing clear and concise directions.

•    Use radios, stop signs, and safety vests to communicate effectively.

•    Stay alert and address potential hazards as they arise.

Qualifications

•    Current Flagger Certification (Required).

•    Reliable and punctual.

•    Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.

•    Able to stand for extended periods.

•    Strong communication skills to direct traffic and interact with the public.

•    Previous traffic control experience is a plus, but not required.

Pay

$17.00 - $18.00 Per Hour

Schedule 

Saturday | 9:00am – 5:00pm
