Hybrid Mechatronics Systems Engineer

Responsibilities

• Drive Innovation: Analyze customer needs and develop tailored solutions that push the boundaries of autonomous haulage technology.

• Collaborate Across Teams: Work with cross-functional teams to solve complex challenges, leveraging diverse expertise to engineer effective solutions.

• Design and Integration: Develop and communicate detailed system specifications to ensure optimal integration of subsystems.

• Product Development: Partner with architects, developers, and product managers to standardize, scale, and enhance Nexeo’s solutions.

• Test and Validate: Evaluate test results to ensure compliance with product requirements and identify areas for improvement.

• Risk Management: Conduct risk assessments and integrate safety standards into every aspect of the development process.

• Customer Engagement: Travel to customer facilities, test sites, and mines to address issues, explore design alternatives, and provide hands-on support.

• Leadership: Mentor team members, fostering growth and innovation within the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field; Master’s preferred.

• 5 years of experience in system engineering, preferably in mechatronics or autonomous solutions.

• Proficiency in V-Model Architecture, requirements generation, and communication protocols.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical writing skills.

• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and mentor colleagues.

• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally, including site visits to mines and supplier locations.

Pay

Salaried | $110k - $140k  

Schedule

Hybrid | Day Shift | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM | Monday - Friday
