Nexeo HR is seeking a dynamic and experienced Hybrid Software Development Manager for a direct hire role in Providence, UT. In this role you will lead the software engineering team in developing cutting-edge solutions for autonomous vehicle command and control systems. Responsibilities
Lead and mentor a team of software engineers in designing, developing, and maintaining innovative software solutions.
Develop and execute forward-thinking technical roadmaps and detailed designs.
Deliver scalable, high-quality software solutions for mining customers worldwide.
Collaborate with Product Managers to align software functionality with customer expectations.
Foster a culture of excellence by implementing agile methodologies and maintaining process-oriented practices.
Analyze and resolve technical challenges related to feasibility, optimization, and production.
Ensure compliance with safety and environmental considerations during design processes.
Manage department budgets and resources, ensuring alignment with company goals.
Drive continuous improvement in product efficiency, manufacturing processes, and environmental impact.
Qualifications
Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
10 years of professional software development experience with expertise in C# or similar programming languages.
5 years of management experience, with a proven track record of leading software engineering teams.
Proficiency in full-stack development, including UI, client/server communication, and server-side logic.
Experience developing highly scalable APIs and integrating third-party systems.
Advanced skills in concurrent, multi-threaded, and asynchronous programming.
Expertise with MS Visual Studio and a commitment to coding best practices.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills with the ability to foster collaboration and innovation.
Pay
Compensation will be discussed during the interview process and will be based on experience and qualifications.
Schedule
Hybrid | Day Shift | 8:00 AM 5:00 PM | Monday - Friday
*Three days remote, two days in office (preferably Tuesday s and one other day))
*Must be flexible to work onsite more days if needed
