Nexeo HR is actively hiring Inventory Specialists to support growing data center operations in the Reno & Sparks, NV area . This role is ideal for candidates with experience in technical inventory management, warehouse logistics, shipping and receiving, preferably within a data center or high-tech warehouse setting.

Responsibilities :

Receive & Inspect Shipments : Verify the accuracy and quality of incoming computer server components, networking hardware, server racks, and other IT equipment.

Inventory Management : Maintain real-time inventory updates using RF scanners, SAP, and WMS software.

Conduct Routine Cycle Counts : Ensure inventory accuracy, identify discrepancies, and support real-time stock level tracking within the data center warehouse.

Perform Audits & Documentation : Use RF scanners, SAP, and WMS software to Keep precise logs of inventory, track and update inventory records, conduct audits, and resolve discrepancies.

Shipping & Logistics : Package, label, and coordinate outgoing shipments for vendors and internal teams.

Material Handling : Assemble and prepare server racks, power supplies, and cables following blueprints and quality standards.

Forklift Operation : Safely operate electric pallet jacks, and material handling equipment to transport and store server racks and crates.

Utilize Tools : Use RF scanners, SAP, and WMS software to track and update inventory records, conduct audits, and resolve discrepancies.

Maintain a Safe & Organized Work Area : Adhere to safety policies and keep workspaces clean and efficient.

Adhere to Industry Standards : Follow company policies and adhere to IT industry standards for the safe handling, storage, and transportation of IT equipment.

Qualifications :

Required : 2 years of prior experience in warehouse operations, data center logistics, and / or inventory management.

Knowledgeable when using inventory management tools & software such as SAP, WMS, Oracle, RF scanners, and / or similar tracking systems.

Required : Some experience operating pallet jack machinery.

Required : Basic computer literacy including proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Warehouse Management Software .

Required : Successfully pass a national background check and pre-employment drug screen.

Must have reliable transportation to and from the worksite near USA Parkway in Sparks, NV .

High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in tracking inventory and handling material transactions.

Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 pounds or more) and perform tasks that involve prolonged standing, walking, and bending.

Strong interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members and vendors.

23.00 Per Hour

Schedule

Full-Time | Day Shift | 6 : 30am – 3 : 30pm | Monday - Friday
