Metal Fabricator

Nexeo HR is looking for a skilled and dedicated Metal Fabricator to join the team of one of our affiliate partners in North Las Vegas! This is a fast-paced, high-expectation environment where quality, precision, and passion for the craft are key.

Responsibilities

•    Interpret blueprints, drawings, and weld symbols to guide fabrication.

•    Create accurate cut lists from drawing packages.

•    Select appropriate fabrication methods and welding equipment.

•    Measure, cut, and bend materials.

•    Set up and operate metalwork machinery (rollers, drill presses, mills, plasma cutters, brakes, saws).

•    Use and maintain basic and powered hand tools (e.g., drills, grinders).

•    Maintain welding equipment (MIG/TIG).

•    Fabricate both structural and non-structural metal assemblies.

•    Grind, finish, and inspect completed products.

•    Report progress and non-conformities to the Department Foreman.

•    Assist with project prototyping and process development.

•    Install metal fixtures and structures, both interior and exterior.

•    Collaborate with Field Operations to ensure high-quality standards.

•    Follow safety rules and help maintain a clean, organized work environment.

Qualifications

•    5 years of experience in metal fabrication or a related trade.

•    AWS Certification (preferred but not required).

•    Strong ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.

•    Self-motivated and thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.

•    High attention to detail and craftsmanship.

•    Solid problem-solving skills.

•    Reliable team player with a strong work ethic.

•    Clear and effective communicator.

Pay

$20.00 - $25.00 Per Hour

Schedule

Day shift | 6:00am-4:30pm OR 6:00am-6:30pm | OT as needed
