Nexeo HR is seeking a skilled Painter to join a great company in Hyrum, Utah. This is a fantastic long-term opportunity for an experienced professional with a passion for painting wood surfaces. If you have 1-2 years of experience working with lacquers, stains, glazes, and finish equipment, and are looking for a full-time position on the day shift, then we would love to hear from you.
Responsibilities
• Apply lacquers, stains, glazes, and other finishes to wood surfaces using appropriate techniques and equipment.
• Prepare surfaces by sanding, filling, and priming as necessary to ensure a smooth and even finish.
• Follow project specifications, including color matching and achieving desired finishes.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring the proper storage and disposal of painting materials.
Qualifications
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in wood painting, specifically working with lacquers, stains, glazes, and finish equipment.
• Proficiency in surface preparation techniques, such as sanding, filling, and priming.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to achieve precise finishes and color matching.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently, meeting project deadlines while maintaining quality standards.
Pay
$18.00 - $20.00 Per Hour
Schedule
Day Shift | 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM | Monday - Friday
