Nexeo HR is seeking a Sanitation Technician to join our team in Ogden, UT. In this role you will help maintain a safe, clean, and sanitary environment within the food manufacturing industry. You will assist with cleaning production equipment, and processing rooms. Responsibilities
• Safe, efficient, and effective cleaning of production equipment, processing rooms and adjacent areas.
• Perform swabbing (ATP, Environmental) of equipment and areas in support of site sanitation and other assigned programs.
• Follow good manufacturing practices (GMPs) to ensure food safety, work safety, and food defense.
• Follow the approved sanitary methods in accordance with food safety requirements.
• Ensure safety precautions are followed in performing your responsibilities
• Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English specific to work instructions including but not limited to safety purposes.
• Regularly time and attendance
• Experience in food manufacturing within a GMP environment
• Knowledge of sanitation practices for industrial cleaning chemicals and food safety related practices
• Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force at times and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects
• Ability to work in cold and hot environments (approximately 38F-80F degrees)
• Ability to repeat motions that may include use of the wrists, hands and/or fingers, and standing or sitting for prolonged periods (average 8-12 hours)
Pay
$19.00 Per Hour
Schedule
Day Shift | 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | Rotating schedule 3 days one week and 4 days the other
