Saw Operator

Nexeo is looking for a hardworking, detail-focused individual to join our team as a Saw Operator. In this hands-on position, you’ll be a key player in our fabrication process—cutting and preparing metal materials with precision and accuracy. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys staying active, working with their hands, and being part of a production team that gets things done.

Responsibilities 

•   Operate industrial saws to cut metal parts accurately to specifications.

•   Measure and mark materials using a tape measure (down to 1/16th inch precision required).

•   Load and unload materials from saws and staging areas.

•   Visually inspect parts for accuracy and quality.

•   Maintain saw equipment, check lubrication fluids, and perform basic maintenance.

•   Keep the work area clean and organized.

•   Occasionally assist in other departments, including basic cleaning or maintenance tasks in welding.

Qualifications

•   Must be able to read a tape measure accurately – a tape test will be required.

•   Previous experience with saws, grinders, or forklifts is a plus.

•   Ability to lift up to 100 lbs and stand for extended periods.

•   Strong work ethic and willingness to help where needed.

•   Must pass a pre-employment drug screening.

•   Comfortable with repetitive tasks and physically active work.

Pay 

$15.00 - $17.00 Per Hour

Schedule 

Day Shift | Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Swing Shift Monday – Friday | 3:30 PM – 2:00 AM
