Senior Supply Chain Manager

In this direct-hire role, you'll lead a team of five experienced buyers and work closely with site managers to optimize supply chain processes, enhance vendor relationships, and ensure seamless operations. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership skills, cross-functional collaboration experience, and deep industry knowledge, particularly in EMS (Environmental Management System) or electronics manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Lead & Develop – Build and guide a high-performing team across Purchasing, Planning, and Inventory Control, ensuring alignment with company goals.

• Drive Supply Chain Excellence – Implement strategic supply chain initiatives to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure on-time delivery.

• Vendor & Supplier Management – Oversee contracts, negotiate pricing, improve supplier performance, and manage vendor relationships.

• Regulatory Compliance – Ensure adherence to ITAR, FAR/DFAR, and other international trade regulations.

• KPI & Performance Tracking – Develop and monitor supply chain metrics, continuously improving processes and inventory accuracy.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration – Work closely with site managers, engineering, quality assurance, and leadership teams to support operational success.

• Continuous Improvement – Foster a culture of lean manufacturing principles and innovation.

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum 5 years in supply chain, purchasing, or inventory control (10 years preferred), ideally in manufacturing, aerospace, or electronics industries.

• Leadership: Strong experience in team management and development, with a passion for mentoring and driving performance.

• Industry Knowledge: Background in Electronics Manufacturing, EMS, or Supply Chain Management. Experience at companies like Celestica, Jabil, Flextronics, Thermo, Cytiva, or SDL is a huge plus!

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems, Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Teams), and data analysis for inventory planning and purchasing.

• Strategic Thinker: Ability to drive process improvements, optimize supply chain functions, and develop innovative solutions.

• Communication & Negotiation: Excellent ability to manage supplier contracts, resolve issues, and build strong internal and external partnerships.

• Certifications: Lean Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt), APICS (CPIM, CPSM, CSCP) a plus!

• Security Clearance: Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to obtain and maintain an Active DoD Secret Clearance (Visa sponsorship is not available).

Pay

$125k – 145k Salary
