Nexeo HR is seeking a skilled Sheet Metal Cutter Operator to join our team in Las Vegas, NV . You will be responsible for operating the plasma cutting machine to deliver high-precision cuts on metal sheets and plates while ensuring safety and quality standards. Responsibilities
- Operate plasma cutting machines to cut metal sheets, plates, and other materials according to blueprints and work orders.
- Set up and calibrate plasma equipment. Perform routine maintenance, including cleaning, changing consumables, and troubleshooting minor issues.
- Inspect cut materials to ensure accuracy, precision, and adherence to required quality standards.
- Follow all safety protocols, including proper PPE use and safe operation of plasma cutting equipment.
- Load and unload materials into the machine, ensuring proper alignment and secure placement.
- Maintain records of production output, machine settings, and report any operational issues to the supervisor.
- Work closely with other operators and team members to maintain smooth production flow.
- Identify and suggest improvements to enhance machine efficiency, cutting quality, and reducing waste.
