Warehouse Janitor

Nexeo HR is seeking a dedicated and experienced Warehouse Janitor to join our team in Henderson, NV, near M Resort. In this role, you'll play a vital part in maintaining a clean, safe, and well-organized warehouse environment. Responsibilities 

• Perform general cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming of warehouse floors and office areas.

• Empty and clean trash receptacles and dispose of waste in designated areas.

• Clean and sanitize restrooms, including replenishing supplies and maintaining cleanliness standards. 

• Clean windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces to ensure they are free of smudges and stains. 

• Maintain cleanliness of breakrooms, including cleaning tables, chairs, and appliances.

• Ensure all cleaning equipment and supplies are properly maintained and stored. Monitor and report any necessary repairs or replacements of cleaning equipment and tools.

• Adhere to safety protocols and use protective equipment to ensure a safe working environment.

• Assist in maintaining inventory of cleaning supplies and notify the supervisor when supplies need to be replenished. 

• Follow all company policies and procedures, including security protocols, to maintain a secure and safe environment.

• Collaborate with other team members and departments as needed to ensure a clean and organized warehouse space.

Qualifications 

• Previous experience in janitorial or custodial services preferred.

• Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners, floor buffers, and pressure washers. 

• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and their safe use and disposal.

• Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing cleaning needs. 

• Ability to work independently and efficiently manage time to complete tasks within deadlines.

• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.

• Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects, bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods.

Pay 

$19.00 - $21.50 Per Hour

Schedule 

1st Shift | 4 AM - 3 PM | Monday - Thursday
