Customer Service Assistant Position

Job Responsibilities
· Carry out day-to day organizational tasks and facilitate communication between management, customers and production department

· Answer phones & manage office calendar

· Update databases and various internal reports

· General clerical work and recordkeeping tasks, including filing

· Follow all rules, safety procedures and regulations of NexGen Container

· Provide any assistance to management on various projects as needed

Job Skills & Qualifications
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Experience with various forms of office software and equipment, including Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, etc.

· Ability to pass a drug/background check

· Strong attention to detail & ability to multi-task

· Able to receive and follow instructions and effectively communicate with co-workers

· Positive attitude and work ethic

· Able to work independently or as an active member of a team

· Excellent interpersonal skills and communication with all levels of management

Education & Experience
· High school education or equivalent

· Experience in using word processing and spreadsheet programs

· Previous experience is preferred, (corrugated industry is a plus)
