NexGen Container is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician with at least 3 years of mechanical maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment. Job Responsibilities

This position is responsible for safely providing maintenance support to our fast-paced corrugated manufacturing plant. We require both excellent mechanical skills and knowledge (pneumatics, hydraulics, bearings, power transmission, and lubrication) and electrical/electronic skills and knowledge (PLCs, A/C, D/C motors and drives, schematics) in our continuous process manufacturing environment to achieve optimal machine uptime and performance. Work positively with maintenance peers and operators to troubleshoot and solve problems and be engaged in preventative maintenance processes in assigned areas.

Primary duties include, but are not limited to:

• Following all safety rules and practices

• Performing preventive maintenance activities such as lubricating, measuring wear, measuring positions, repositioning components; and observing operations, vibrations, and noise levels.

• Performing emergency / break down maintenance as necessary to support plant operations.

• Accurately using measurement and test equipment.

• Performing electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and other repairs and installations as needed.

• Maintaining clean and organized work areas and cleaning up work areas as part of completing assigned tasks.

• Accurately and completely prepare and maintain maintenance records and other paperwork.

• Trouble-shooting and solving problems.

• Excellent teamwork, cooperation and problem-solving skills.

• Willingness to fully cross train in other technical areas to enhance capabilities.

• Candidates must be willing to work alternative shifts, weekends, and overtime as required.

• Performing other duties as assigned by supervision

• Highly qualified candidates would possess manufacturing experience in the corrugated industry.

· Ability to perform a variety of physical tasks

· Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

· Understanding of and willingness to abide by all safety protocols

· Ability to pass a drug/background check

· Ability to read labels, safety warnings, and guidelines

· Attentive to detail and alert at all times to ensure safety

· Able to receive and follow instructions and communicate with co-workers

· Positive attitude and work ethic

· Able to work independently or as an active member of a team

· Excellent interpersonal skills and communication with all levels of management

Education & Experience

• Minimum qualifications for consideration are a high school degree, industrial maintenance certification (Preferred), and three years of work experience in a Maintenance manufacturing environment with at least one year with the same employer.

· Ability to safely operate equipment
