Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Inventory Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate inventory levels and ensuring efficient warehouse operations. This position requires strong data analysis skills, experience with inventory management, and the ability to perform heavy lifting as needed. The Inventory Associate will work closely with various departments to support demand planning and optimize stock levels.
Duties
- Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability.
- Utilize a Warehouse Management System (WMS) for tracking inventory movements and data entry.
- Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies in stock counts.
- Assist in organizing the warehouse layout for efficient storage and retrieval of products.
- Perform heavy lifting as required during the receiving, stocking, and shipping processes.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with safety standards.
Experience
- Proven experience in inventory management or warehouse operations is preferred.
- Experience using Fishbowl Inventory or similar software is a plus.
- Ability to lift heavy items safely and efficiently.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members across departments.
- Forklift experience a plus.
