NexGen Data Systems is seeking a highly skilled and motivated WAN Provisioning SME to join our dynamic team. This position directly supports both the PEO Digital Product Service Owner (PSM) and the Product Service Engineer (PSE) for the services and products associated with the Infrastructure Services Portfolio. The WAN Provisioning SME will review and develop plans to resolve issues raised with Circuits (Large and VSSD) provisioning.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- WAN Requirements - Submit new WAN requirements to NCMO for circuit ordering and liaison efforts.
- Circuit Capacity Planning - Review and develop plans to reduce circuit capacity or increased demands.
- IP Routing Planning - Review and approve WAN integration into the IP routing plan.
- Circuit Provisioning Application Validation - Validate circuits provisioning applications for completeness and accuracy using the Circuit Information Management Tool Set (CIMTS).
- CIMTS Updating - Creating, tracking and updating unclassified circuit information into the CIMTS.
- Complete CIMTS Circuit Review and Revalidation (R&R) due for review.
- Circuit Ordering - Creating, tracking and updating circuit orders using DISA Direct Order Entry (DDOE).
- SNAP Tool Updating - Creating, tracking and updating unclassified circuit information into the Systems Network Approval Process (SNAP) tool.
- GIAP Updating - Creating, tracking and updating classified circuit information into the Global Information Grid (GIG) Interconnect Approval process (GIAP).
- Open DISA StoreFront (DSF) requests for circuit disconnects.
- Track circuit disconnects using DISA StoreFront (DSF), WAN Implementation Tool (WIT), Systems Network Approval Process (SNAP), Grid (GIG) Interconnect Approval process (GIAP), Telecommunication Services Enterprise Acquisition Services (TSEAS) Inventory and Billing Information (TIBI), and Network Node Manager I (NNMi).
- Track all Circuit packages submitted by the A&A Circuit team and provide updates on the FS NMCI NIPR/SIPR weekly Conference call.
- Risk Progress Reporting - Report weekly status on risks, progress and appropriate mitigation actions.
- Meeting Attendance - Attend weekly WAN meetings.
- Metric Reporting - Track and submit the weekly metrics report to WAN Team.

Requirements:Desired/Required Skills:
- Must know or be familiar with CIMTS, DSF, eMASS, GIAP & SNAP, NNMi, TCOSS, TIBI, and WIT.
- 2 to 4 years of progressive technical experience.
- Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or a related discipline is preferred but not required.
- Adapt rapidly to new systems and technologies.
- Resolve complex issues efficiently and effectively.
- Communicate technical details in a clear, concise, and professional manner to diverse stakeholders.
- A strong sense of urgency including self-governance on task priority.
- Active Secret or higher Department of Defense clearance is required for consideration.
- 8140 compliance required (Sec and OS Certification).
