Security Officer

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires a proactive approach to surveillance, conflict management, and loss prevention. The Security Officer will utilize various security measures, including CCTV monitoring and physical presence, to deter and respond to incidents effectively.

Responsibilities

• Monitor premises through surveillance systems, including CCTV, to identify suspicious activities or potential threats.
• Conduct regular patrols of the property to ensure safety and security.
• Respond promptly to alarms and emergencies, taking appropriate action as needed.
• Enforce rules and regulations while maintaining a professional demeanor.
• Assist in conflict management by de-escalating situations when necessary.
• Provide first aid and CPR assistance as required during emergencies.
• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary for investigations or incidents.
• Maintain accurate logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations.

Experience

• Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or military service is preferred but not mandatory.
• Certification in surveillance techniques or loss prevention is a plus.
• Familiarity with first aid practices and CPR certification is advantageous.
• Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Excellent observational skills with attention to detail.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 per week

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Holidays
• Weekends only
