Branch Fire Support - Central OR
Seasonal, part time positions to assist with Fire Support in Central Oregon.
Job duties include but not limited to:
- Preparation of materials before and at end of fire.
- Bookkeeping during and at end of fire.
- Loading and unloading fuel from truck into containers and vehicles.
- Performing DVIR on truck and maintaining vehicles in safe operating condition.
- Keeping account of transactions, customers, and various accounts.
- Processing different forms of payment for services (fuel, etc.)
- Required: Camping overnight at locations for multiple days at a time. Tent and cots provided.
Environment and Physical Requirements
- Outside in all weather conditions
- Smoky and dusty
- Will push, pull, and lift 25-30 lbs
- Will bend, kneel, climb, and use ladder and steps.
