Carwash Inventory & Parts Specialist
Job Summary
We are looking for an Inventory Control and Parts Specialist to assist in our Carwash Division. You will be responsible for proper controls over parts and supplies to support Carwash operations at multiple locations.
Your main duties include receiving and processing orders, invoicing, inventory control, negotiating pricing, receiving and completing daily reports.
Main Functions
-
- Receive orders from customers and technicians and process in PDI and Concur systems
- Place and track orders with vendors
- Receiving shipments and ensuring accuracy of deliveries
- Ensure proper stock of frequently used items
- Adjust pricing as necessary
- Perform daily inspection reports
- Maintain/improve organization in the warehouse
- Distribution of parts and equipment
- Monthly inventory count and reconciliation of variances
Travel
- Less than 10%
Additional Functions Include:
- Track incoming and outgoing inventory
- Daily facility inspection
- Daily forklift inspection
- Enter purchase order numbers into database
- Track and process service orders
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace including shipping station and inventory cage.
Education & Experience Requirements/Competencies
- 3-5 years of inventory or parts management
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office including but not limited to: Word, Outlook, Excel
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
Working Conditions
- Majority of work conducted in an office and warehouse environment. May be required to drive in inclement weather.
- Work schedule will vary and may include work on evenings, weekends and holidays due to special events, inclement weather, and other projects related to timely distribution of product and services.
- Requires activities involving being around moving machinery, exposure to marked changes in temperature and humidity, and exposure to dust, fumes and gases.
Physical Requirements
- Work is performed while standing, sitting and/or walking.
- Requires communicating effectively using speech, vision, and hearing.
- Requires the use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations.
- Requires bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, reaching.
- Will lift, bend, stoop, pick up, carry, push, and pull medium weights up to 50 pounds.
