Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst with expertise in the Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance (BFSI) sector, particularly in Wealth Management. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, modeling, and profiling, along with proficiency in SQL and other relevant tools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and interpret data related to custodian, transaction, and holding within the Wealth Management domain.
- Perform data profiling to assess data quality, completeness, and consistency.
- Develop and maintain data models to support business objectives.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and translate business requirements into data solutions.
- Design and implement efficient SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and reporting.
- Utilize data modeling tools to create logical and physical data models.
- Work with the DataVault methodology for advanced data warehousing (preferred but not mandatory).
- Ensure compliance with data governance and security standards.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience as a Data Analyst in BFSI, preferably in Wealth Management.
- Strong understanding of custodian, transaction, and holding data concepts.
- Proficiency in SQL for querying and manipulating large datasets.
- Expertise in data modeling tools (e.g., Erwin, PowerDesigner, etc.).
- Experience with data profiling techniques and tools.
- Familiarity with DataVault 2.0 methodology (nice to have).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
