What You’ll Do
- Lead Strategy & Vision: Develop and implement forward-thinking product development strategies that align with our business goals and market demands.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with teams across sales, marketing, merchandising, and customer support to ensure seamless product launches and successful go-to-market strategies.
- Market Research & Innovation: Conduct market research to stay ahead of trends and customer needs, defining product requirements and prioritizing a roadmap that keeps us competitive.
- Product Design & Development: Oversee product design and development projects from concept to launch, coordinating with both internal teams and external partners.
- Team Leadership: Inspire, manage, and mentor a talented team, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
- Global Product Launches: Ensure timely, high-quality product delivery, managing the Product Development department's budget, timelines, and resources.
- Global Collaboration: Work with international partners, including outsourced manufacturers, especially in Asia, to drive consistent product quality and development.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field (advanced degree a plus).
- 10 years in product development, with a proven record of leading cross-functional teams and launching successful products in consumer goods (outdoor products preferred).
- Strong analytical, leadership, and project management skills, with experience in agile development methodologies.
- In-depth understanding of market trends, customer insights, and global product launch strategies.
- Familiarity with international markets and collaborating across cultures.
