Job Description
Nexpera seeks a highly skilled Supply Chain Logistics Coordinator to join our team in the Sulfuric Acid Regeneration Services Business. This role is responsible for managing the day-to-day activities required to create and maintain detailed production/supply schedules based on coordination with customers, sales, manufacturing operations, marketing terminals, and co-producers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a team of shipping coordinators and contract loaders responsible for planning, loading, and distribution of sulfuric acid.
- Plan production schedules for assigned manufacturing processes to optimize production output and meet customer requirements.
- Provide functional leadership/management for shipping roles on site.
- Analyze internal and/or external customer requirements, current and future inventory conditions, and production capacity to determine raw material and run rate requirements.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent combination of education/certification and experience) plus 2-4 years of production planning and control experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Supervisory or management experience.
- Working knowledge of production and inventory planning principles, methods, and systems.
