What are the responsibilities and job description for the After School Instructor position at Nexplore Enrichments?
**PLEASE read the entire ad before applying. The short version of this description is:
- Pay: $45/class, plus 50 cents per mile if driving more than 20m roundtrip.
- Location: St. Bernadette School (1453 Locust Lake Rd, Amelia, OH 45102).
- Dates: January - March 20th (10 weeks).
- Nexplore Enrichments (www.nexploreusa.com): is an after-school program. You will be teaching one or more of these programs - 3D Printing to school-aged children (curriculum and materials are provided).
Qualifications:
- Part-time position.
- Experience in Teaching.
- Passion for education and fostering the joy of learning in children.
- Experience working with children.
- Educational (development or training) experience.
- Teaching degree or certificate is a PLUS!
- Must commit to the full proposed schedule.
- Great communication and presentation skills.
Requirements
- Reliable transportation.
- Willing to complete a background check and fingerprints.
- Willing to complete mandatory training.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and engage with children in after-school activities, ensuring a safe and supportive environment.
- Implement educational and recreational programs that promote learning and development.
- Foster positive relationships with students, encouraging communication and teamwork.
- Manage classroom behavior and address any conflicts that arise.
- Collaborate with parents and staff to support children's individual needs and progress.
- Maintain records of student participation and progress, reporting any concerns as necessary.
