What are the responsibilities and job description for the After School Teacher position at Nexplore Enrichments?
**PLEASE read the entire ad before applying. The short version of this description is:
- Pay: $45/class, plus 50 cents per mile if driving more than 20m roundtrip.
- Location: Geanby Elementary (1490 Hard Rd, Columbus, OH 43235) & Bluffsview Elementary (7111 Linworth Rd, Columbus, OH 43235)
- Dates: Tuesday & Thursday for 8 weeks starting February 11
- Nexplore Enrichments (www.nexploreusa.com): is an after-school program. You will be teaching our Build-a-Bot, 3D Printing, and Robocoding programming to school-agesd children (curriculum and materials are provided).
Qualifications:
- Part-time position
- Experience in Teaching
- Passion for education and fostering the joy of learning in children
- Experience working with children
- Educational (development or training) experience
- Teaching degree or certificate is a PLUS!
- Must commit to the full proposed schedule
- Great communication and presentation skills
Requirements
- Reliable transportation
- Willing to complete a background check and fingerprints
- Willing to complete mandatory training

Responsibilities
- Supervise and engage children in various activities, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment.
- Implement Nexplore's lesson plans that promote learning and development through play and structured activities.
- Manage classroom behavior and foster positive interactions among students.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom space.
