What are the responsibilities and job description for the After-School Teacher position at Nexplore Enrichments?

- Pay: $45/class, plus 50 cents per mile if driving more than 20m roundtrip.
- Location: Old Trail School (2315 Ira Rd, Akron, OH 44333).
- Dates: March 31st to April 23rd.
- Nexplore Enrichments (www.nexploreusa.com): is an after-school program. You will be teaching our Robocoding and Claymation programming to school-agesd children (curriculum and materials are provided)
Qualifications:
- Part-time position.
- Passion for education and fostering the joy of learning in children.
- Experience working with children.
- Educational (development or training) experience.
- Teaching degree or certificate is a PLUS!
- Must commit to the full proposed schedule.
- Great communication and presentation skills.
Requirements
- Reliable transportation.
- Willing to complete a background check and fingerprints.
- Willing to complete mandatory training.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and engage children in a variety of activities, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment.
- Implement lesson plans that promote learning and development through play and structured activities.
- Foster positive relationships with students, encouraging communication and teamwork.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively, addressing any issues with patience and understanding.
- Collaborate with parents and staff to support each child's individual needs and growth.
