Fitness Instructor

The short version of this description is:

• Pay: $45/class depending on skill level, plus 50 cents per mile if driving more than 20m roundtrip.
• Schedule: Wednesdays from 3:00 - 4:00 pm.
• Location: St. Louis County.
• Dates: January 22nd to February 25th.
• STEM Knowledge needed: None.
• About Nexplore (www.nexploreusa.com): Nexplore is a national enrichment service provider with a mission statement to foster the joy of learning through a wide range of over 40 STEAM, Life Skills, and Fitness solutions offered as after-school, in-school, and summer programs. You are going to be teaching the Zumba Program.

Qualifications:

• Part-time position.
• AA Degree (or higher).
• 2 years teaching/instructing (preferred).
• Passion for education and fostering the joy of learning in children.
• Experience working with children.
• Educational (development or training) experience.
• Teaching degree or certificate is a PLUS!
• Must commit to the full proposed schedule.
• Great communication and presentation skills.

Requirements

• Reliable transportation.
• Willing to complete a background check and fingerprints.
• Willing to complete mandatory training.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $45.00 - $60.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Conduct engaging group fitness classes, specifically Zumba classes.
• Implement fitness programs that incorporate knowledge of physiology and body mechanics.
• Teach proper exercise techniques and ensure participant safety during sessions.
• Maintain a clean and organized environment.
• Work with children, adapting fitness activities to suit their needs and abilities.

• Zumba: 1 year (Preferred)
