What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mandarin Instructor position at Nexplore Enrichments?

The short version of this description is:
- Pay: $60/class, plus 50 cents per mile if driving more than 20m roundtrip.
- Location: 1630 W Barry Ave, Chicago, IL 60657.
- Schedule: 1 afternoon per week.
- Dates: from first week of March until last week of May.
- STEM Knowledge needed: No needed. It is important that the instructor is fluent in Mandarin.

Qualifications:
- Part-time position.
- AA Degree (or higher).
- Experience teaching.
- Passion for education and fostering the joy of learning in children.
- Experience working with children.
- Educational (development or training) experience.
- Teaching degree or certificate is a PLUS!
- Must commit to the full proposed schedule.
- Great communication and presentation skills.
Requirements
- Reliable transportation.
- Willing to complete a background check and fingerprints.
- Willing to complete mandatory training.

Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging Mandarin language lessons for children, focusing on communication skills and cultural understanding.
- Manage classroom behavior and create a positive learning environment.
- Provide individualized support to students with diverse learning needs, including those in special education.
- Maintain a safe and nurturing atmosphere, applying first aid when necessary.
- Collaborate with parents and staff to enhance student learning experiences and promote early childhood development.
