What are the responsibilities and job description for the Urgent hiring Teacher K-8th position at Nexplore Enrichments?
**PLEASE read the entire ad before applying. The short version of this description is:
- Pay: $35/class, plus 50 cents per mile if driving more than 20m roundtrip.
- Location: Holy Cross Lutheran (304 South St, Collinsville, IL 62234).
- Dates: Tuesdays to Thursdays 3 weeks starting February 27th.
- Time: 9:00 am to 2:00 pm.
- Nexplore Enrichments (www.nexploreusa.com): is an after-school program. You will be teaching our Minecraft, Games and Robotics with Edison programming to school-aged children (curriculum and materials are provided).
Qualifications:
- Part-time position.
- Passion for education and fostering the joy of learning in children.
- Experience working with children.
- Educational (development or training) experience.
- Teaching degree or certificate is a PLUS!
- Must commit to the full proposed schedule.
- Great communication and presentation skills.
Requirements
- Reliable transportation.
- Willing to complete a background check and fingerprints.
- Willing to complete mandatory training.

Responsibilities
- Supervise and engage children in various activities, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment.
- Implement Nexplore's lesson plans that promote learning and development through play and structured activities.
- Manage classroom behavior and foster positive interactions among students.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom space.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 per week
