Research stories and segments
- Pitch broadcast/digital stories
- Assist in writing packages and writing/posting online pieces
- Maintain up-to-date social media content
- Assist with field shoots including helping with gear
- Assist with teleprompter during live broadcasts
- Work alongside editorial and sales departments to meet client's needs
- Aid in greeting and bringing guests to and from set
- Conduct pre-interviews and fact-check information
- Perform other duties, as directed by management
- Must be attending an accredited college or university and studying mass communications, journalism, or related major
- Intern is required to work 10-20 hours a week
- Must be 18 years of age
- Must receive academic credit for the internship experience
- Must be registered for college at his or her institution during the quarter or semester in which the internship is performed
- Must have reliable transportation
- This is an unpaid internship; credit verification forms will be provided
