Overview
The Equipment Operator / Laborerwill perform basic installation of materials on a construction site and be tasked with operating equipment such as a skidsteer and forklift.
Responsibilities
Equipment Operator / Laborer typical responsibilities and duties include, but are not limited to the following: - Operate a skidsteer and forklift - Perform setup and clean up tasks at job site, including removal of construction debris - Navigate construction job site terrain - Clean & sanitize jobsite trailers - Assist with basic deliveries & material storage - Housekeeping interior and exterior project site - Provide labor support as necessary for carpenters, masons, and other specialized contractors, work to be directed & planned by Foreperson - Reporting all safety incidents & injuries to Foreperson and Safety Leader - Any scope of work outside of they above listed, shall be planned, documented, and approved by Foreperson, Safety & Management
Qualifications
EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION - High school diploma or GED - Construction experience preferred - Or equivalent combination of education and experience - OSHA 10 hour certified recommended, (Next 150 Construction will assist with obtaining this certification if necessary) - 1 years of experience operating a skidsteer - 1 years of experience operating a forklift - Proof of certificates, degrees, etc. upon hire KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES - Basic understanding of construction principles and procedures - Willingness to work in high-stress environment with extreme weather fluctuations - Ability to work in a team environment Next 150 Construction Services has an unwavering focus on safety, the environment and caring about everyone involved in our work.
