We're looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Inventory Specialist to help ensure smooth operations and maintain compliance with state regulations. As an Inventory Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring accurate and timely fulfillment of cannabis products for our customers.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate inventory records in compliance with NYS cannabis regulations
- Receive, label, and store new product shipments
- Conduct routine inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies
- Monitor product shelf life, stock levels, and ensure proper rotation
- Collaborate with sales staff to ensure accurate product availability
- Track and report any inventory discrepancies or security concerns
- Use digital tracking systems (Biotrack experience a plus!)
- Ensure proper storage and handling of all cannabis products
- Coordinate with internal teams to fulfill customer orders accurately and on time.
- Adhere to all applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies related to the cannabis industry.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of fulfillment areas, following all health and safety guidelines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to continuously improve fulfillment processes and optimize efficiency.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in a cannabis-related field is a plus.
- Proven experience in cannabis fulfillment or a similar role within the cannabis industry.
- Strong knowledge of cannabis products, strains, and packaging requirements.
- Familiarity with local and state regulations governing the cannabis industry.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high levels of accuracy and compliance.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
