Job Type: Part-Time
Hours: 20 hours per week

Reports To: Executive Director
Primary Responsibilities
Program Execution
Implement and Oversee the Men's Reentry Program Model.
Supervise and manage:
- Men's Reentry Bible Studies (twice weekly)
- Spiritual Development courses
- Adult Detention Center Studies (once weekly)
- Facilitate Resident Orientation for new residents
- Assist residents with successful transitions out of Next Chapter, including transition planning and execution.
- Collect assigned outcome data.
Relationship Building and Resident Support
- Foster Christ-centered relationships with participants through regular verbal and written communication.
- As needed, provide mentorship and spiritual guidance for Men's Reentry participants, including past residents.
- Correspond with incarcerated individuals preparing to transition into Next Chapter’s mission, including but not limited to attending interviews, attending court dates or case planning meetings, and corresponding with case workers or probation/parole officers.
Education and Leadership Development
- Plan, promote, and coordinate educational and social activities that support holistic growth.
- Identify opportunities to teach life skills and enhance leadership development.
- Facilitate Resident-Led Check-Ins to encourage accountability and growth.
Volunteer Development
- Recruit, equip, train, and develop volunteers, including:
- Study Leaders
- Mentors (ensuring each resident has a mentor)
Best Practices & Administrative Duties
- Use best practices and evidence-based programming that align with trauma-informed care.
- Maintain documentation of program activities, events, and participant progress.
- Operate from a non-denominational framework while upholding Christian values.
- Complete administrative tasks as required.
- Attend team consults, ministry-specific meetings, development meetings, and Rapid Consults as requested.
- Maintain a regular presence in the main office and on campus.
Qualifications
- Education: (Preferred) Bachelor’s degree in social work, ministry, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience: Background in reentry, case management, or mentoring justice-involved men.
- Skills: Strong relationship-building, mentorship, and conflict-resolution abilities.
- Organizational: Ability to track progress, manage the needs of residents, and complete reports.
- Flexibility: Availability to work evenings and weekends as needed.
