Next Day Access is a family run business helping people with mobility and accessibility challenges to remain safely in their home. Our company provides Accessibility and Mobility solutions for our customers, by evaluating, installing and servicing Modular Aluminum Handicap Ramps, Porch Lifts, Stair Lifts, Pool Lifts, Grab Bars, Vehicle Lifts and other accessibility and mobility products. We offer a rapid response, and free on-site evaluations to work with our customers and to provide the best solution for them.
We will provide you on the job training to teach you about the products we offer and install.
Responsibilities include:
- Lead team of installation technicians
- Perform evaluations at customer's home or business and recommend proper equipment
- Sketch job plan layouts, listing equipment and required job site labor
- Install recommended company products to residential or business structures according to work order specifications, safety procedures, instructions and code compliance
- Exhibit a sense of urgency to respond quickly to customer requests
- Monitor and execute daily schedule to meet or exceed appointment times
- Provide customers with accurate product information and documentation
- Promote products and services that the company offers
- Demonstrate high standard of customer service, addressing all customer concerns promptly
- Troubleshoot and resolve installation and service issues
- Display excellent verbal and written communication skills with customers, co-workers and vendors
- Ensure that vehicle, tools and equipment are properly cleaned and consistently maintained
- Perform routine preventative maintenance on equipment, troubleshooting problems as needed
- Safeguard all customer data and company issued equipment, including tools, toolboxes, electronic devices, credit cards, etc.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures and safety protocols
- Maintain a safe driving record and adhere to laws and posted speed limits
- Ensure warehouse cleanliness and safety
- Perform other duties, as needed or as assigned by manager, to maintain local office

We're looking for someone with a strong construction/ mechanical background who enjoys working with people to lead our team of Installation Technicians. Our ideal candidate will work well alone in a remote setting, but also enjoy interacting with other team mates, vendors, and our customers.
Mechanical or construction background required
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Proficient with power tools and able to maintain equipment
- Able to use technology: tablet, smart phones, internet, GPS technology
- Experience with drawing up simple plan layouts, job site requirements
- Experience troubleshooting and resolving service and/or installation concerns
- Demonstrate basic math skills using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals
- Must have physical strength, stamina, and dexterity to lift and move up to 100 lbs.
- Should be able bend and stand though out a work day in varying weather conditions and on varying terrain
- Must have the ability to climb steps or ladders, and at times work in tight spaces
- Able to show experience working with customers in a field environment, and promoting products or services
- Able to pass detailed background check and drug test
- Must have a clean driving record
- Knowledge of ADA guidelines and code compliance procedures a plus
