Sales Role Overview
This is a challenging and rewarding position that requires strong leadership skills, product knowledge, and the ability to motivate and coach sales representatives. As an Assistant Sales Manager, you will work closely with our Sales Manager to develop and implement sales strategies, provide training and coaching to sales representatives, and analyze sales data to identify areas for improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Sales Manager in leading the sales team and developing sales strategies
- Provide coaching and training to sales representatives on sales process skills, product knowledge, and industry expertise
- Analyze sales data to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to increase sales performance
- Participate in ride-along training with sales representatives and provide feedback on their performance
- Develop and implement new hire training programs to ensure sales representatives are equipped to succeed in their roles
Desired Qualifications
- Previous management experience required
- Five-plus years of in-home sales experience preferred
- Prior knowledge of general construction applications and terminology or window and door applications and components is preferable
- Strong communication and planning skills, with the ability to make objective decisions and prioritize tasks effectively
